Sometimes, we normally blame our thoughts for our actions. This is very psychological. We think negatively, we get negative output. And it has been proven stressful. Negative thinking attracts negative energy. It can affect us in many ways. So, to get away with it, we have to practice positive self talk. It is one thing of getting positive energies around. Developing it is very easy.
There are many ways of practicing positive self talk. One of it is interacting with positive people. When the people around you are inspiring and are good friends who are willing to help you when you’re down, then these people contain positive energy that could help you. Maintain a good relationship between you and your friends. It could uplift you to become a healthier person mentally and physically.
Listening to mellow music with good lyrics could be a great help also. It could be an inspirational song. It’s much better than having crazy thoughts like criticisms running through your mind. Make yourself comfortable with the music, throwing away other things in mind. There is a lot of mellow music out there. Try to choose the one with inspiring lyrics.
It is best also if you try to read books that talks about success, strengths and enlightenment. In a way, it can help you change the way you think. Reading a bible is the most powerful way of getting away from stress. It will inspire you to make good thinking for your actions.
Think about what you are trying to have in your life. It could be a healthy lifestyle or supportive friends around. You can write it down in a paper. Only register positive thoughts in your mind. Be sure it will work for you. Have your mind set to things that are hopeful and are realistic.
When you make a positive self talk, make sure it is really positive. Make it real and experiment, and see what feels right for you.
Take rid of bad habits. A good way to stop it is to change it with something better. When you self talk and had more negative words, neutralize it. Look for milder words. Like for example, from the word hate. When you use hate in a sentence like “I hate bad weather”, it sounded more powerful. But instead of using that word, try “I don’t like bad weather”, it’s milder though.
Positive self talk makes you stress- free.
Develop a good habit of positive thinking and you will be surprise one day. You will live a healthy lifestyle. And you will be mentally and physically healthy.
